About Us and How it all Began!
About Us, and who we are, Ultimate Bunker is a family-owned business with real family values. How Ultimate Bunker started. It all started when Mike Peters the CFO of Ultimate Bunker had a dream, a dream to have his own business. After working for other companies gaining experience and knowledge.
In 1996 Mike was finally ready to start his own business in construction and became a general contractor.
Furthermore, Mike has built quiet impressive reputation of doing really good quality work. In Fact, the business grew quickly and expanded into the surrounding states. In 2008 the economy crashed and most construction companies stopped working, or even filled bankruptcy leaving Mike scrambling to find a new way to do business.
As mike was watching the television, he happens to watch a show called Doomsday Bunkers. Additionally, it was a new show about bunkers and people who buy them. “The bunkers on the show looked poorly built and quiet honestly, he said he would be embarrassed to show that type of product on TV, Let alone selling it to a customer.”
Mike thought to himself “Hey I can do better than that.” So, after doing lots of research and coming up with a design that is better and stronger than the competitors.
Of Course, Mike decided to jump in and build a display bunker on a trailer that showed a whole new look to what a bunker is. He then took it to trade shows around the country. After doing a few dozen trade shows Mike knew who his clients were and who he needed to target.
Over the years Mike has grown his reputation as being one of the nation’s top bunker builders with a focus on premium and luxury. The Ultimate Bunker team has built some amazing bunkers for some really wealthy clients around the country.
In fact, one thing about Mike is that he really likes to design and build new things every day and that has led to an amazing portfolio.
One day while Mike was doing an office remodel for the state of Utah. He needed some more help. So, he ran an ad on the internet. That’s when he met his now beautiful wife, Karla.
Since that day they have worked side by side and have become the perfect team.
Together, they have been building their empire.
As a team, the business has grown tremendously and they have traveled the country helping some amazing people.
Ultimate Bunker has been built by providing great service and quality products, along with the passion of being the Best of the Best!
Every day is a lesson and with those lessons and experience in every aspect of the business. They have become an amazing company.
She has learned so much from hands on experience and is constantly in the shop working. Karla plays a big part in everyone’s project, from start to finish she’s there.
